Dirty Honey Is
Bringing Back The
Classic Double
Live Album
The double live album in the 1970s was a staple in rock music. Just think of the iconic records, Frampton Comes Alive, Cheap Trick At Budokan, Kiss Alive and Bob Seger's Live Bullet just to name a few.

Up and comers Dirty Honey are reliving this past era with their new double live album called Mayhem & Revelry, which is set to be released on Friday, February 21.

I have been a fan of this band since I saw them open up for Slash back in 2019. Their stage presence, energy and of course their rockin' good tunes had me hooked.

Mayhem & Revelry really captures the vibe of this band and put the listener right in the middle of the audience. The first album was recorded from shows in the US. In at least two songs, singer Marc LaBelle mentions Cleveland which is very cool for the fans that were at the sold out show at the House of Blues. Songs on the first album include "California Dreamin'," "Heartbreaker," and "Another Last Time."
The second album was recorded from shows on their European tour and include songs like "Satisfied," "The Wire" and "When I'm Gone."

Collectively, the album rocks from start to finish. Whether you were at the shows and want to relive your experience or if you want to know what a young and hungry band brings to a live setting, Mayhem & Revelry is the album for you.

You can order a signed copy of the new album at Dirtyhoney.com or you can download it or stream in starting on Friday from your usual streaming services.
