Kenny Wayne Shephard is still out on the road celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of his 2nd record Trouble Is...

He brought his great four piece backing band that includes long time vocalist Noah Hunt, Hall of Fame drummer Chris "Whipper" Layton, bassist Kevin McCormick and Joe Krone on keyboards.

After opening up with with a blistering version of "Trouble Is..." and the rocking "Somehow, Somewhere, Someway," Shepherd addressed the audience and told them that they were going to play the entire Trouble Is ... record. It was going to be in a different order, but every song would be played.

He then noted that, "We are going to walk off the stage and pretend were not coming back. But then we will come back and play a whole other set." He mentioned that they are working on a new album and they may just come back to play those new songs.

After "Chase The Rainbow," Shepherd told the nearly sold-out crowd that he was very proud that the next song was a part of many people's lives. He said that several people told him they used it as their wedding song and that a few years ago, Five Finger Death Punch re-recorded it and it went to number one again. With that, they played a great version of "I Found Love When I Found You."

Shepherd did his best Hendrix impression on "I Don't Live Today" which went into his biggest hit "Blue On Black."

Closing out the main set was "Slow Ride" which completed the twelve track lp.

Ture to his work, the band returned to play a five song encore which included "Woman Like You," "Diamonds & Gold" and a great cover of BB King's "You Done Lost Your Good Thing Now."

It was another great night of rockin' blues by one of the best in the business.
