August 31, 2022

The Wonderbus Music and Arts Festival came to The Lawn ot CAS last weekend in Columbus.  The third, and largest Wonderbus lineup was headlined on Friday by 2022 Rock Hall inductees, Duran Duran.

It was a perfect weekend, weather wise for the festival.  I will take a little hot and humid over rain any day.

Besides music, there were several vendors selling their wares as well as food trucks and even The High West Distillery selling a variety of whiskies from their truck.

A crowd of over 10,000 came to see Duran Duran on Friday night.  However, the fans who arrived early not only got a good spot close to the stage, but they also got to hear and see good sets from Tayls, Daisey the Great and Cannons.  Each band brought their own unique sound and did a good job warming up the audience.

On Saturday, we got to check out Cousin Simple, Hembree and Chloe Lilac.  Unfortunately we had to leave before seeing The Knocks, Cautious Clay, Coin and Lorde. But I heard all of the acts performed very well.

The Elevation Group continues to bring outstanding music festivals to Ohio.  Every year they seem to get bigger and better.  We are looking forward to see who's on the lineup for both WonderStruck and WonderBus next year.
